100% Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy
Our Promise to You
Our goal is to increase quality of life for dogs and the humans who love them. All of our supplements are formulated and crafted with intention, care, and love. We stand behind our products: if you are not 100% satisfied, we will promptly make it right.
This policy has two parts. The first is our voluntary Satisfaction Guarantee, offered to all customers. The second is the statutory right of withdrawal, which applies to consumers in the European Union and exists in addition to - and independently of - our guarantee.
Part 1 - Our Satisfaction Guarantee (all customers)
How long do I have to return a product? 30 days from the arrival date.
When will I receive my credit? Once the product is returned to our warehouse, you will be credited to your original form of payment within 7-10 business days. If you purchased using a gift card or store credit, you will receive store credit. (EU consumers exercising the right of withdrawal are always refunded to the original payment method - see Part 2.)
Is there a return fee? Shipping fees are non-refundable for guarantee returns. An outbound shipping charge of up to $8.99 may be deducted from a guarantee refund. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item received was defective or incorrect. Where a return is due to our error or a damaged product, all shipping costs are covered and a full refund issued upon verification. A restocking fee of up to $20 may be applied where applicable. These fees do not apply to EU withdrawals under Part 2.
What products can I return? Unused, unopened products in sellable condition, in the same condition you received them, within 30 days of arrival. Wholesale purchases are not eligible for return. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Taste Guarantee on EverPup and Nutrocept. If you are using the 100% Taste Guarantee on EverPup or Nutrocept, we will take back an open jar (even empty) provided you supply a copy of your original receipt and have not used the guarantee before.
WHAT IF MY ORDER GETS HELD AT CUSTOMS?
At Functional Nutriments, we take great pride in serving our valued customers worldwide, and we understand the importance of a seamless shopping experience. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that international orders may occasionally encounter customs-related delays. While we make every effort to collaborate closely with our trusted fulfillment partners and carriers to ensure that all international orders comply with customs regulations, there are instances when orders may be held at customs, despite our best endeavors.
Regrettably, we are unable to issue refunds for orders detained at customs for any reason. We wish to emphasize that such occurrences are infrequent, and most international orders arrive without any complications. Nevertheless, it is our duty to inform you of this possibility so that you can make an informed decision when placing your order. We are committed to providing exceptional products and services, and your satisfaction remains our top priority.
Part 2 - Right of Withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This right is separate from and additional to our Satisfaction Guarantee.
Withdrawal period. 14 days from the day you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. For an order of multiple goods delivered separately, it runs from receipt of the last item.
How to withdraw. Use our withdrawal function at [link to EU Withdrawal page] or complete the model withdrawal form below and send it to cs@functionalnutriments.com. You will receive confirmation of receipt by email.
Effects of withdrawal. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard outbound delivery costs (excluding any supplementary cost from choosing a delivery type other than our standard option). We refund to the same means of payment you used, at no fee to you. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you supply proof of return, whichever is earliest.
Return costs and condition. You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Health-protection exception. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery. This applies to our consumable supplements once a unit's seal is opened. Unopened, still-sealed units remain fully eligible - e.g. in a multi-pack, sealed units may be withdrawn even if another unit in the same order was opened. (For EverPup and Nutrocept, our voluntary Taste Guarantee may still allow return of an opened jar - see Part 1.)
